Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect? How does this process work?

Once you contact us, either through our website, email or text, we will set up a FREE consultation to discuss your needs and space. Following the consult we will set a date for your first session. At that time we will begin by emptying the space, categorizing the items and work alongside you to declutter. Next, we will clean the space and organize it, using items you may have on hand, such as boxes or bins. We can also suggest products that would work best in your space. We do keep a small amount of frequently used items in our stock that are available for purchase. Finally, we attach labels and go over everything with you. When we leave we will take one carload of donations to drop off at a site of your choice. We are available through text to answer any of your questions or concerns for two weeks following the completion of the project.

How many sessions will this take?

It's hard to estimate, as much depends on your decision making and the time it takes to declutter. Usually after working with you for a session, I have a better idea on the amount of time it will take to complete it. A minimum of one session (4 hours) is required.

Do I have to be home?

Not necessarily, if it's straightforward like a pantry or an area that doesn't need a lot of decluttering, we can contact you with any questions we have through text. When decluttering, we ask that you be present during the process, as the decisions are yours on what items to keep or donate. 

Will you travel?

I work in a 50 mile radius. Outside of that area is an additional $2 per mile plus accomadations if needed.

Are you going to make me get rid of everything?

Of course not! This is your space and your items! That being said, I will remind you of your goals... for example if you hope to make room to have family stay over, often this requires decluttering. I think I can safely say that most of us have too much STUFF! It's liberating to let go of these items that don't serve you and make room for what you love! 

Do I need to buy organizing products?

That is your choice. We love to use what you already have but if there is a certain aesthetic you are going for or we realize there are certain products that would be helpful for you, we will provide links or do the shopping for you.

What about sentimental items?

We will work with you, providing practical but compassionate solutions to the daunting questions of:

"What do I keep?"

"How do I let go?"

"How do I safely store items to pass down to family members?"
